Seeking an experienced Analyst to support the research and development of high visibility briefings, reports and ad-hoc information products. The successful candidate will possess demonstrated skills and experience in performing in-depth data mining and an ability to collate information into highly detailed information products for a broad stakeholder community.

This role requires an ability to quickly gain comprehensive understanding of the radiological/nuclear (Rad/Nuc) domain, inter-agency roles and responsibilities and the operational environments and homeland security missions of Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial (FSLT&T) Government law enforcement personnel and other first responders.


  • Coordinate across Federal Agency’s to gather current open source and intelligence information.
  • Distill and compile current intelligence into the Director’s daily Read Book and other briefing materials.
  • Develop and present regular briefings for high level officials on topics of current interest.
  • Develop information products for the State & Local law enforcement and first responder community.
  • Respond to Homeland Security Operations Center (HSOC) Requests for Information.
  • Populate databases with current information and situational awareness data.
  • Monitor data/communications networks for indications of the detection of contraband radiological/nuclear (RAD/NUC) material and report incidents, as directed by established protocols.
  • Conduct data-mining of RAD/NUC incidents and detection alarms to develop technological and operational trend analysis reports.
  • Operate multiple communications networks, to include desktop computer systems, radio communications, intelligence systems, and other voice/data links.
  • Attend and/or present at meetings, workshops, and conferences as assigned.


  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field.
  • 10 years of experience performing information fusion and analysis.
  • Must have a Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain SCI; current SCI highly desired.
  • Ability to brief senior government managers, excellent oral presentation skills a must.
  • Strong interpersonal and written communications skills;
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Outlook).
  • Ability to organize multiple tasks and prioritize assignments.
  • Ability to obtain DHS Suitability; current Suitability desired.

Desired Qualifications:

  • GIS Geospatial Intelligence experience.
  • Experience using ARC GIS.
  • Experience working with a wide spectrum of Federal, State, Local, Tribal, and Territorial Government stakeholders.
  • Experience working with the Intelligence Community, working in Command Centers, and familiarity with issues concerning U.S. Government Interagency coordination and integration.
